Community Eye Care

Statistical figures show that 1/3 of the world’s blind population live in India. It is estimated that by 2010 the blind population of India would cross 1.5 crores and cataract accounts for 80% of this figures.

As part of our community out reach programs, we are conducting free screening camps, surgeries, subsidized treatments and distribute medicines and spectacles for the under privileged section of society. They are given food, accommodation, transportation, medicine, spectacles and other facilities completely free of cost.

Till date we have conducted over 1400 such camps and did 25000 surgeries.

You can associate with us to bring light into the lives of the poor and needy. If you are a philanthropic individual or an organization you can join hands with us to conduct free or subsidized camps which are organized all around Kerala.
